Petty, Petty, Petty! Apple Bees Manager at the Vineland NJ location is more like the parking authority than a restaurant manager. We accidentally parked in the "30 Min parking Zone" food pick up spot. (whatever!) As we're eating our appetizer we hear an announcement on the loud speaker, "whoever has the Gold Honda Pilot with plate number xyz....is parked on our 30 min zone and has to move there car immediately! We looked up and realized it was us.

I asked for the Manager and she approached our table. I apologized for parking in the "no parking zone," and explained that it wouldn't happen again as it was a mistake and didn't pay attention to the sign. With no regard to customer service or any sign of empathy in front of my family she demanded we move our vehicle. Since she was being rude about it I said that I would leave and take my party elsewhere if the parking spot was that important. (as if!) Again, without any empathy or any customer service etiquette, she responded, OK you can leave. Surprised with her response, I asked for the check. My family and I were completely embarrassed by the situation and my kids were left hungry. We felt that we were treated indifferently and as if our money wasn't green. We ended up eating at Long Horn and spent $128.35 just on drinks not including our entrees. This Apple bees location should take notes from Long Horn and learn what customer service is all about and someone needs to get that Manager off her high horse and retrain her on the importance of customer service and what it means to be in the service industry.
